晚餐的地點定在靜安寺附近的一家法式高檔餐廳，之前姜清悅和唐子揚曾經來過一次。這家餐廳外面看起來樸實而低調，走進裡面卻別有洞天，典型的歐式精美裝飾風格，水晶吊燈，西式壁爐，錯落有致的酒櫃，牆上的各種油畫，營造出美好的溫馨氣氛。

因為臨近新年，餐廳的生意很好，大部分餐桌都坐了人，空的桌子上也都擺上了已預訂的牌子。客人中有不少是金髮碧眼的外國人。

和姜清悅上次來時不同的是，餐廳闢出了一塊地方，有一支小型樂隊在那裡演出，唱的都是抒情舒緩的英文歌。

陳卓今天特意穿了身筆挺的西裝。姜清悅沒有點菜，都交由陳卓負責。主菜中，陳卓點了這裡的主打菜惠靈頓牛排、脆皮乳豬、鵝肝和蝸牛泡芙，另外點了兩杯法國紅酒。

一晚上基本都是陳卓在說話，姜清悅則是默默地享受著法式大餐。

上甜品前，一位服務員走到陳卓跟前，在他耳邊耳語了幾句。

陳卓向服務生點了一下頭，對姜清悅說：“有點事，我去去就回來。”

姜清悅點點頭。

陳卓走後幾分鐘，姜清悅耳邊突然響起了一首很熟悉的歌曲前奏。她轉過身看著樂隊的方向，發現陳卓懷抱著一把吉他正站在那裡，開始演唱一首英文歌。
